Accessing Your Coaches Dashboard
Your Coaches Dashboard is the central place where you manage:
- Your personal information
- Your assigned courses and testing sessions
- Your Google Calendar integration
- Your available courses and testing requests
- When you log in, you will see a new information panel in the center of the dashboard.
Setting Up Google Calendar Integration
Syncing your calendar allows every course you are assigned to automatically appear on your personal Google calendar.
It is very important this step is done at the beginning. Only new events that you are scheduled to will show up after this setup. If you set up later that is ok but this feature will only sync new events you were just assigned to. It will not be able to sync events you are already schedule for.
Step 1 Open “Integrations”
- Go to the Profile tab
- Select “Integrations”
- Click Integrations at the top of the screen.
Step 3 Approve the Connection
You may see a message saying
“Google hasn’t verified this app”. This is normal. Google is warning you that the system can add events to your calendar.
This is correct as that’s how your schedule syncs.
Click Advanced
Click the link at the bottom that says go to MotorcycleInstructors.com
Press Continue.
Step 3 Course Details
Click any course on the calendar to see:
- Course description
- Location
- Start and end times
- Other coaches already assigned
Step 4 Request The Event
Click any course on the calendar to see:
- Click the Request button.
- Select the role you’re requesting.
- Your name and email will auto-fill since you’re logged in.
- Add a phone number or notes if needed.
- Click Submit.
If you are assigned to an event you will receive an email with details and the event will also be placed on your calendar.
Viewing Your Roster
Coach’s rosters are provided to you via email 2 days before the event.
The rosters are powered by google sheets and can be filled out on a device electronically or by printing the sheet out and completing it on paper.
The top section of the roster will include event information:
- Coach names
- Event locations
- Event dates & Times
The next section includes information related to the riders:
- Their name / nickname
- ID & waver checkboxes
- Are they using our scooter
- What is their personal motorcycle information
- Course / Testing results
The next section below is our rider waitlist. This section is reserved for waitlist riders.
If there are any notes about this specific event they will be displayed in the Courses Notes section.
The final section below is reserved for any notes you need to make about this event.
What you need to fill out
All of the rider information as well as event information will be completed before you are sent the coach’s roaster. You will need to verify the information is correct with the rider and if there are any changes corrections need to be made.
The course / testing information section is where you will be inputting rider results. You will see columns for:
- knowledge test score
- knowledge test result
- skills test score
- skills test result
- course result
These cells need to be completed, and please use the dropdown options available for the results. For DOL reporting we must use these only as results.
There is no need to submit your roster as the admin team already has access to the rosters.
