Washington Motorcycle Safety Training

1. Overview

WMST provides motorcycle safety training courses, rider testing, and related educational services.
The Website allows users to:

  • Register for training courses

  • Make purchases

  • Manage bookings

  • Communicate with WMST

  • Access instructor tools (internal staff only)

These Terms govern your use of the Website and any services associated with it.


2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old to register for training

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Not use the Website for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose

Internal tools (instructor scheduling, Google Calendar integration, employee portal access) are restricted to approved WMST staff.


3. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

WMST reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms.


4. Course Registration & Payments

By enrolling in a course:

  • You agree to all WMST policies, including rescheduling, cancellation, safety, and attendance requirements

  • You authorize WMST’s payment processor to charge your chosen payment method

  • You understand that WMST uses secure third-party services for all transactions and does not store your payment information


5. Safety & Participation Requirements

All students must follow the safety requirements published on the Website, including:

  • Mandatory riding gear

  • On-time attendance

  • Safety compliance with instructor instructions

  • Using street-legal and insured motorcycles if providing your own

Failure to comply may result in removal from the course without refund.


6. Google Calendar Integration (Staff Only)

WMST provides optional Google Calendar synchronization for instructors.

By connecting your Google account, you authorize WMST to:

  • Read your Google Calendar availability

  • Create and update work-related events

  • Sync your assigned teaching schedule

WMST does not:

  • Access emails or contacts

  • Read personal event descriptions

  • Share or sell Calendar data

  • Modify events it did not create

This integration is used solely for internal scheduling purposes.

Disconnecting your Google account will stop all syncing.


7. Refund, Cancellation, & Rescheduling Policies

Refund and rescheduling rules are outlined clearly on the Website and include:

  • Refunds only when canceled at least 10 days before a course

  • $25 rescheduling fee for changes made at least 10 days in advance

  • No changes allowed within 10 days of the course

  • No refunds for tardiness, unpreparedness, or no-shows

These policies are strictly enforced.


8. Intellectual Property

All course materials, Website content, graphics, text, logos, and instructional materials are the property of WMST and may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without written permission.


9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Website for fraudulent or illegal purposes

  • Attempt to bypass security features

  • Interfere with Website functionality

  • Share instructor tools or internal materials with unauthorized persons


10. Data Protection & Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, located at:

This includes information about:

  • What data we collect

  • How we use it

  • How internal Google Calendar data is handled

  • Your rights regarding personal information


11. Third-Party Services

The Website may integrate with:

  • Google Calendar

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Square, WooCommerce Payments)

  • Email and SMS systems

  • Scheduling platforms (Amelia)

These third parties have their own Terms and Privacy Policies, which you agree to by using our services.


12. Limitation of Liability

WMST is not liable for:

  • Injuries resulting from motorcycle training

  • Student failure to follow safety instructions

  • Loss of personal property

  • Website downtime or technical errors

  • Third-party service outages (Google, payment processors, etc.)

Participation in motorcycle training involves inherent risks. Students accept responsibility for their own safety and conduct.


13. Course Completion & Licensing

Course completion does not guarantee:

  • Passing the knowledge or skills exams

  • Issuance of a motorcycle permit or endorsement

  • Licensing acceptance by the Washington Department of Licensing (DOL)

Students must follow DOL requirements to complete licensing.


14. Termination

WMST may suspend or terminate access to the Website or internal tools at any time for violations of these Terms.


15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
